| The Atma Ram Sanatan Dharam College was founded by the Sanatan Dharam Sabha (Rawalpindi) Delhi in 1959. Originally known as just the Sanatan Dharam Dharam College it got its present name when the well known philanthropist Atma Ram Chaddha took over as chairman of the Governing Body. The college shifted to its current location in Dhaula Kuan in 1965. |

| The college is sited on a large 12 acre campus in South West Delhi. It is well endowed in terms of facilities. The infrastructure available includes well equipped Physics/ Chemistry/ Electronics/ Biology/ Computer Labs; a library with over 100,000 titles; spacious playgrounds; indoor and outdoors sports facilities and a gymnasium. The college provides ample facilities for dramatics, music and dance. The college has a strength of about 3500 students. |
