| About the College |
| Daulat Ram College is a women's only college imparting liberal education that was set up by the famous educationalist Daulat Ram Gupta in 1960. The college, originally located at Tilak Marg, initially functioned under the name "Pramila College". It shifted to its current location in the North Campus in 1964, undergoing a name change at the same time. |

| Size, Infrastructure, Facilities |
| Daulat Ram College is well endowed in terms of infrastructure with the science
laboratories having been recently upgraded with equipment provided by Delhi University. The college
has a well equipped library with a collection of 80,000 titles, an auditorium with a seating capacity
of 1300 and computer labs that provide internet connectivity to all. Hostel facilities are available for
about 200 students. The sports facilities are excellent and include a gymnasium. The college was selected as a training venue for Rugby for the Commonwealth Games 2010. The college has a total strength of 3200 students taught by 18 departments. |
