| Kalindi College was established in 1967 by the Delhi Administration and is a constituent college of Delhi University. The college initially functioned out of a school building in Dev Nagar before shifting to its current location in Patel Nagar in 1970. |

| Kalindi College is housed in a 10 acre campus and has a strength of about 2000 students and 100 faculty members. The infrastructure includes a 69,000 book library with internet access; an auditorium; playgrounds; a computer centre and a cyber cafe. The entire college building is networked with the computer lab with CAT-5/6 cables. |
