| Lakshmibai College is a women's only college that was established in 1965. The college was originally christened as Women's College but was later renamed in memory of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi. Lakshmibai College offers courses mainly in the humanities and commerce streams. |

| Lakshmibai College is one of the larger colleges of Delhi University and has an enrollment in excess of 3500 students. The college has its own building and spacious lawns. The facilities available include well equipped laboratories for food technology, apparel design and computers; wireless internet access under the University wide networking programme; a seminar room and a well equipped library. The college has a special Disability Unit to help students with special needs. Sports facilities are very good with both students and faculty members winning laurels at national and international events. |
