| Motilal Nehru College dates back to 1964 when it started functioning out of a school building. The college moved to its current location in the South Campus of Delhi University in 1989. The college now occupies a sprawling campus and offers courses in all the three streams - science, commerce and humanities. |

| Motilal Nehru College is one of the larger colleges in Delhi University with a
strength of 3500 students and 120 faculty members. The college has a large campus. The facilities
available include a large library with 100000 plus books; recently renovated physics/ chemistry/
mathematics laboratories; WiFi enabled computer labs and a seminar room with a capacity of 100. The College has a vast playground and extensive sports facilities, some of which have been renovated recently. It has a unique mountain biking facility that is a big draw with students. Motilal Nehru has been winning the prestigious Chancellor's Trophy for Sports for the past 10 years. |
