| About the College |
| Ramjas College is one of the oldest colleges in Delhi. The college was founded
in 1917 by philanthropist Rai Kedar Nath who named it in the memory of his father Lala Ramjas. As
with so many of Delhi's older institutions it was originally located in Darya Ganj. The college was run by the Ramjas Foundation and remained at Darya Ganj till 1950, when it became one of the three original colleges constituting Delhi University. The college also shifted to its current location in the North Campus at this time. |

| Ramjas College boasts of a large campus inside the Delhi University North Campus.
The campus is well equipped with the facilities available including a new academic block; a library
with over 100,000 titles; an air- conditioned auditorium and hostel facilities for both men and women. The college has a large number of academic and extra- curricular societies in addition to the nine clubs that students can join. |
